Would like to install this on a 1990 FJ1200. Ive currently got my oem cdi and coils. I do intend to install a pair of Dyna coils on it but would i need to change my cdi? Also, correct me if I'm wrong but this limiter would have to be wired between my ignition module and the coils? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tyler,

Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. Unfortunately, the DRL-400 can be inconsistent with many OEM ignition systems so we would not recommend it for use here. If you have the Dyna 2000 installed the DRL-400 will work great. If we can be of any future assistance please feel free to contact us anytime.
