Question: I have a 2020 Street Glide/FLHX and a 2023 Ultra Limited/FLHTK. If I am understanding correctly, I can use the same PV Black Series for both bikes with purchase of a second tune license and download it to the PV unit. I am planning on purchasing a PV Black Series for the 2020 Street Glide and using later on the 2023 Ultra Limited. If I am correct, I will need a different cable to hook up the PVBS to the 2023 Ultra Limited. Do you sell an adapter cable to do this? Thanks

Question: I have this unit installed on my 2019 HD Ultra limited. I had stage 4 installed then the tuner then I had it custom dyno tuned. I'm very impressed with the results. I recently installed larger wheels and tires on my bike so now my speedometer is off. Is there a way through the dynojet tuner re calibrate my speedo? Question: Do I need a Windows device to load tunes on to the Power Vision? Or are the tunes already loaded on the device?

The Power Vision units comes with all of our pre developed tunes on the unit, and once it has been married to the vehicle you will only be able to choose the tunes that are specific to your vehicle. If we do develop new tunes we will have them available for free to download on the website. The WinPep software is designed to be used on a windows based PC. This will not work with the Power Vision unit as it is designed to work with the Power Commander V unit. If you are wanting to add QS to your HD bike while using the PV, you will want to the standalone kit 4-134 or 4-136 depending on your year and model. Yes the PV-2B will fit your 2021 XL1200NS Iron. The Sportster models are still using the CAN style ECU so it will have the correct Diag cable and tunes for your bike.

The PV-1B and PV-2B kits we sell come with 67" cables so the unit can be mounted to the handlebars. If you do not have the cable then you will need either the SKU #76950241 for the J1850 port, or SKU #76950346 for the CAN port.

Question: Does this void your warranty ?

So this is a gray area and I wish I had a definitive answer for you, it should be no it doesn't void your warranty. Technically adding aftermarket accessories to your vehicle does not void the warranty, but a lot of dealership will automatically tell you it's voided and there's nothing you can do because they don't want to submit a claim. There are laws in place to protect consumers in modifying their vehicles. It is supposed to be if the installed accessories caused the failure then it would not be covered under warranty. I have heard from customers that bought new 2021 models, that HD dealers are telling them if they plug anything into the ECU it will void the warranty. I don't know if this is true or how they would be able to determine that caused the failure. I know this is confusing but I hope it sheds some light on situation and answers your question.

Question: Can you unmarrie or divorce the device from a bikes ecu?
Answer: Hello Ryan, at any time you can put a bike back to stock by flashing the stk.file, but it does not unmarry it. If you are looking to tune another HD bike with the PV then you would need to purchase a Tune License from the website, and apply the credit to the bike to be able to tune. If you have a new bike and want to tune it with your PV then you will need a Unlock License to be able to marry to the bike. Unlock License are purchased through us by calling (800)992-4993.
