Hello Kevin,

Yes, this kit will work and provide you better overall throttle response and performance. This exact jet kit SKU# 1148 was tested/developed for mildly tuned machines using the stock airbox, with stock or K&N filter and the stock exhaust. May also be used with a good aftermarket exhaust system K&N filter #HA-6592.
