Dear Mr. DiFrancesco,
Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. Unfortunately, the DC6-4 will not work with a single point set for dual fire operation for a couple of reasons. First, the DC6-4 is a single fire coil so there is no proper way to wire it for dual fire operation. Secondly the DC6-4 is a 3 ohm coil so will likely burn up the points quicker as well as possibly overheat the coil leading to a failure there. The correct coils to use in this application would be our DC2-1, 1.5 ohm cols wired in series. If we can be of any future assistance please feel free to contact us anytime.
