Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. The DC6-5 is a 2-in-1 coil that is designed for use with Harley-Davidson single fire ignition systems. It would not really be suitable for your GL500 due to the lack of active dwell control in the OEM ignition module. We would recommend our DC3-2 Mini Series coils for this application.
