Hello Justin,
Enlarging the slide lift holes allows the slide to come up more while riding at lower RPMs and throttle positions, which subsequently allows more fuel to come up through the main jet, emulsion tube, and into the venturi when riding in that range. if you have any further questions, please reach us directly at pstech@dynojet.com
