Hello Rob,
Power Commander V: This is what the industry refers to as a "piggyback" tuner. It is connected between the ECM and the main wiring harness and must remain installed on the vehicle as long as you wish to reap the benefits. It is normally mounted behind a side cover or under the seat. The main items it can control are fuel and ignition. This device basically intercepts the signal going from the ECM to the fuel injectors and modifies the signal to add or remove a specified percentage of fuel. It can also be used to advance or xxxx the timing from the stock programming in the ECM. This is done by loading a pre-developed map or creating a custom map with the AutoTune Kit or on a Dyno.
Here is a video link that shows the Software and Map for the PCV: https://youtu.be/twewbFCtw5M
The Power Commander V Module or the older modules never came with an o2 Sensor/s, where have you seen, read or received this information?
