I'm considering a Dyna 2000i, preferably in "single" fire mode (vs "dual" fire) for my '71 XLCH.The OEM coil location, for my points equipped '71 XLCH, is under the seat.Can you provide an idea (or better yet, a picture) on the mounting hardware I would need to fabricate, in order to mount this DC6-5 coil under the seat ?At this time, re-locating the coil to under the gas tank, is not under consideration. Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. Unfortunately, we do not have any photos of under seat mounting for the DC6-5 coil as this would be a completely custom application. I can say the DC6-5 is only slightly larger than an OEM electronic ignition coil so maybe that will be of help here. If we can be of any future assistance please feel free to contact us anytime.
