Hello Frank,
Thank you for your support of Dynojet products. he Dynojet Target Tune (TT) wideband accessory is a great product for use on any fuel injected Harley-Davidson motorcycle that came from the factory with oxygen sensors. It will work with either the PV-1 or PV-2 versions of the Power Vision (PV) flash tuning product. TT has two main functions:
To be used to perform wideband Autotune sessions that will help refine a tune. Specifically, it helps to calibrate the VE (Volumetric Efficiency / airflow) tables of the tune. This calibration helps the ECM to understand exactly how much air flows thru the system at any given point in the power band. This is an essential calibration to any good tune.
To be used as an enhancement to the bike?s stock, closed loop, oxygen sensor system. With the TT kit and its wideband oxygen sensors installed, we are able to send wideband oxygen sensor data to the ECM. When TT is installed, a special, Target Tune enabled tune must be flashed to the ECM of the motorcycle, so that it can understand the information it would be receiving from the wideband sensors. As the bike is in operation, the system would constantly monitor the bikes' live AFR, and compare that value to what is being commanded in the tune. If those values don?t match, the system has up to 30% fuel adjustment, on the fly, to get you to your commanded AFR and keep you there.
