Hello Jon-Carlo,

Yes, you will need a module to control the Quick Shifter Sensor.
Below are the Quick Shifter parts you will need to install it on your 2002 CBR954RR.

First you need a module to control the QS Sensor, please select one of the two modules.
SKU: 16-048 Power Commander V: https://www.dynojet.com/power-command...
Note: you can also tune your bike.

OR

SKU: 4-139 Quick Shifter Stand Alone Module: https://www.dynojet.com/standalone-qu...

Once you selected a module, you then will need both parts below.
SKU: 4-130 QS Sensor: https://www.dynojet.com/quick-shifter...

SKU: 32104060 Shift Rod A: https://www.dynojet.com/quick-shifter...
NOTE: You will cut one section off of the Shift Rod to match your Factory Rearsets/Shift Rod. Please let us know if you have aftermarket Rearsets/Shift Rod.
