Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. Yes, you may shorten the wires but it is important to make good secure wire connections when you do. Also, please note that there are 3 red wires on the D37-1 system and these cannot be mixed up or ignition damage may result. Make sure you clearly identify these wires if you change the connections.
