Yes for the PV3 to work with a Can-Am atv it must have a drive by wire throttle system. Looking at our fitment guide your 2016 650 DPS has a cable system so it will need the PCV 25-027, https://www.dynojet.com/power-command.... This is a piggyback system that plugs inline with the ECU to adjust the Fuel and Ignition tables, but it does not flash the ECU. It can help with throttle response, added power, and cooler engine temperatures but it won't adjust the speed limiter.
