Hello Mike,
The Power Commander V (PCV) is a piggyback fuel management system, we are loading the pre-developed map or a custom map (Created on a dyno) into the PCV module. This is NOT flashing the ECU or altering any factory settings.
The Bassani 2 into 1 or any other similar 2 into 1 pre-developed map, should work pretty well. When there is not an exact match available for your particular specific setup, we select a map with similar air flow characteristics. Even though the alternate map may be for pipes from a different manufacturer, a similar style exhaust will have comparable air flow . The air flow characteristics between the two setups should be similar enough for the map to work for you or serve as a starting point for more advanced tuning if desired.
We do recommend test riding all the maps that are similar, select the best performance and decide if you need to fine tune your bike during your test ride. Below are two ways to fine tune and/or create a Custom Map for your modification.
Install the AutoTune accessory kit and fine tune while you ride. Here is a link: AT-300 https://www.dynojet.com/autotune-for-...
