Hello James,
The PV3 is a flash tuning device which flashes a tune to the ECU to help correct the Fuel and Ignition tables, DBW settings, Fan Temp, raise REV limiter and it even read and clear Diag codes. It is able to read info from the ECU but it won't give you a fuel level reading or tell you current MPG while you are riding. It can help improve MPG by correcting the fuel tables but depending on how heavy your right foot is, the added performance might take some of that away.
