Hello Heiner.
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Dynatek DS3-1 and DS3-2 ignitions for the Suzuki GS engines.
The DS3-1 was designed to replace the points ignition used in a KD ignition, where the DS3-2 was designed to replace points and early electronic ignitions for the ND ignitions.
The ignition assemblies are the same, but the magnetic rotors are different heights and the magnet positions are a touch different.
If you cannot identify which system you have, the KD or ND, please contact support@dynaonline.co for further assistance.
