For the PV3 to be able to work on the Can-Am ATVs they must have a Drive by Wire, DBW, throttle system. Can-Am was putting both the standard cable throttle and the DBW systems on the 850s depending on the trim package. Typically when they put the iTC, intelligent throttle control, on the ATV it is DBW. Check the throttle to see what kind of system your 850 has, if it's a cable it will be DBW and you can use the PV3-25-10. If it has a standard cable then it would need the PCV 25-030.
