For a Can-Am vehicle to use the PV3 it must be a Drive by Wire , DBW, style throttle system. You can check the throttle and if a cable is coming off of it, it would be a DBW and can use the PV3. If it is a traditional cable then you would need the PCV. Can-Am was putting both systems on the ATV lineup so you will want to confirm what it has. Typically if the vehicles has the iTC, intelligent throttle control, it is a DBW system.
