Hey Chris,
So one PV unit can be purchased to tune both HD bikes. If you purchase the PV-2B for the 2017 CVO Ultra then you will need to purchase the Diag cable 76951048 for the 2021 Tri-Glide and a tune license from the website to tune the second bike. Now the PV unit will also need the new firmware update to be compatible with the 2021, but anytime you are switching to tune the other bike you will have to load the other firmware onto the device. If you are not wanting to switch back and forth between firmware, and have a PV unit on each bike then you will want to purchase a PV-2B and a PV-3B.
