Hello Jeremy,
For a Can-Am vehicle to use the PV3 it must be a Drive by Wire , DBW, style throttle system. The 2021 Outlander 850 XT is showing to be a cable throttle system in our fitment guide so that would need the PCV 25-030. You can check the throttle and if a cable is coming off of it, it would be a DBW and can use the PV3. If it is a traditional cable then you would need the PCV. Can-Am was putting both systems on the ATV lineup so you will want to confirm what it has.
