To install the Dyna-S into your engine, you will need the Dynatek DSK6-1 kit which includes the Dyna-S ignition and the matching, high output 5.0 ohm coil. The factory ignition coil you have will not work, as the primary ohm rating is much too low.
You will also need a quality mechanical advance assembly, as the timing cup you have cannot be used. For a quality advancer, we recommend the unit sold by American Prime Manufacturing in Southern California. They have a stainless steel, heavy duty unit which will outlast the engine, where lesser quality aftermarket units will not.
As opposed to the DSK6-1, we might recommend the use of the Dynatek D2KI-1P ignition. This nosecone mounted ignition is a stand alone system that can be used with the OEM coil and the 32402-83 your engine should already have. Where the DSK6-1 offers no tuning options, the D2KI-1P offers 4 user selectable timing advance curves and 4 rev limit selections. It also allows the retention of the original VOES switch for improved part throttle throttle response and fuel economy. The D2KI-1P is about the very same price as the DSK6-1 and advancer with better tuning options, so this would be what we normally recommend for these applications.
