I bought 3 Ohm Mini Coils DC 1-2 in 2017. Now they read 10.4k Ohm (2nd res) and 3 Ohm prim . Are they good or bad? Dyna Coil (Mini) Dual Output 3ohm Dual Plug/Single Fire
I did not check primary and secondary resistence when new, and now I am in troubleshooting for some misfiring issue on my CBR 900 carbs bike, which could be due to sevaral reasons. As soon as I bought them, I talked with your hotline and they suggested to use Dyna plug wires that came in the kit and stock Honda plug caps. Are the secondary resistance value 10.3 kOhm still good (measured without cables) or too low, considering stock coils 25 years old are reading 14 kOhm (secondary R) and 2.3 Ohm (primary R)? You provide nominal values of 11.5 k Ohm but no tolerance (?) thanks!
