If I buy PV4-15-01, can I reuse it on a 2014/2016 Street Glide with a new cable/license, or do I need PV4-15-02? Power Vision 4 for Harley-Davidson J1850 ECU
I would like to know if I purchase the Power Vision 4 for Harley-Davidson J1850 ECU (PV4-15-01), would it still be possible to use it later on a different motorcycle, such as a 2014 or 2016 Harley-Davidson Street Glide?
Specifically, if I change the cable, can the device be made compatible and obtain a new license to pair it with another motorcycle for tuning?
Or would I necessarily need to purchase the Power Vision 4 for 2011–2020 Harley-Davidson (PV4-15-02)?
I noticed that there is an option to upgrade for Harley-Davidson Gen 2, so I would like to better understand the compatibility and flexibility between these models.
