I ordered and installed this ignition on my 76 gl1000, followed all the instructions but I am having issues timing it. I hooked up the test light and timed it as the instructions say. Test light fires at F2 when connected to the blue wire and fires at F1 when connected to the yellow, but it also fires and will stay on at other points in the engines rotation. Tried to fire the bike up and it will start but will not go above 1,000 rpm and dies when I let off the throttle. Is it possible I have a faulty module? View answer

Is there a way to convert a PCV tune file into a PV3 file? The reason is there is a tune Map ID 22-065-008 named 'Akrapovic exhaust DNA air filter and airbox lid' which is what I need but this tune file isn't available for the PV3. There only seems to 10 files, 9 of which are named along the lines of 'Yamaha FZ-07, BU250C010001, Stock exhaust, Stock intake' for the PV3. If possible, I'll pull the trigger and purchase a PV3. Hi, I read on the website this is a standalone quick shifter. I do not have a power commander nor do I want one. The instructions for the installation say "plug into power commander." So is this not a stand alone kit? Do I need a power commander? Sadly I've already ordered it and it gets delivered today...Bike is a 2003 YZF-R6. I also didn't know that I may need a shift rod. It's a little misleading since I need to purchase multiple different parts for a "kit." View answer

I just bought a PV3-17-01 3.20 kawa1000 tuner. I have a 2020 Krx. I would like a tune that just removes the throttle restriction and lowers the coolant temps. As for the octane i would like to stay the same and I don't need the timing advanced. I do how ever have a slip on muffler and I don't want it popping. View answer

I just got a 1975 BMW R90/6 that has a Dyna III electronic ignition. Should I use a spark plug with a resistor, or are the no-resistor Bosch plugs that are usually installed on this bike okay? I read somewhere that no-resistor plugs can damage the electronic ignition. Thanks. View answer
