Hi, I read on the website this is a standalone quick shifter. I do not have a power commander nor do I want one. The instructions for the installation say "plug into power commander." So is this not a stand alone kit? Do I need a power commander? Sadly I've already ordered it and it gets delivered today...Bike is a 2003 YZF-R6. I also didn't know that I may need a shift rod. It's a little misleading since I need to purchase multiple different parts for a "kit." View answer
