Is there a way to convert a PCV tune file into a PV3 file? The reason is there is a tune Map ID 22-065-008 named 'Akrapovic exhaust DNA air filter and airbox lid' which is what I need but this tune file isn't available for the PV3. There only seems to 10 files, 9 of which are named along the lines of 'Yamaha FZ-07, BU250C010001, Stock exhaust, Stock intake' for the PV3. If possible, I'll pull the trigger and purchase a PV3. I just installed this on a 1980 cb750 custom build. What are the white, dark blue, and purple wires with bullet connectors for? There's no mention of them in any wiring diagram or manual I can find. Also I get 12v to the system, but the test light keeps blinking and makes it impossible to do the static timing outlined in the instructions. View answer

I ordered and installed this ignition on my 76 gl1000, followed all the instructions but I am having issues timing it. I hooked up the test light and timed it as the instructions say. Test light fires at F2 when connected to the blue wire and fires at F1 when connected to the yellow, but it also fires and will stay on at other points in the engines rotation. Tried to fire the bike up and it will start but will not go above 1,000 rpm and dies when I let off the throttle. Is it possible I have a faulty module? View answer

Question... Tuner Insisted on this kit I had another that was sold for a set of pipes ... At 1/4 throttle I'm losing and detonating one cylinder sounds like crap could a pull back on the fuling be causing a miss .. I dropped it off with solid spark and icm ... It's done this in the past where it misses and just becomes unrideable and frankly just sounds like it's blowing up ...any advice would be appreciated I know the tuner spent their time trying to dial it in .. HD 1971 XLCH - SportsterI am looking at your Dyna S - DSK6-2 kit..... basically to upgrade my points system & changing from dual fire to single fire. BTW, I am running a 5 ohm coil now but dual fire, and non resistor plugs & wires.The Dyna S specs say to use 5 ohm coils for street use..... no problem, understood on the single fire coils needed. BUT do I need to also use a RESISTOR spark plug plus RESISTOR (spark plug) WIRES with the Dyna S ? View answer
