I have a 2018 Can Am Outlander 650 6x6. The stock tuning is so lean that the exhaust heat nearly melts the body work. I've been told installing a PC will ritchen up the tune enough to allow the machine to run cooler. I have no other mods on the machine. I ordered and installed this ignition on my 76 gl1000, followed all the instructions but I am having issues timing it. I hooked up the test light and timed it as the instructions say. Test light fires at F2 when connected to the blue wire and fires at F1 when connected to the yellow, but it also fires and will stay on at other points in the engines rotation. Tried to fire the bike up and it will start but will not go above 1,000 rpm and dies when I let off the throttle. Is it possible I have a faulty module? View answer
